Gerovital H3
Gerovital H3 is one of the most famous Romanian brands along with the name of Ana Aslan, the one from where the story of Gerovital starts and who created the first geriatric institute in the world. Afterwards the World Health Organisation recommended the institute’s organisation manner for all similar institutes worldwide.
In 1952, Ana Aslan prepared the Vitamin H3, a product whose formula was based on procaine which until then was used only as a local anesthetic. Ana Aslan studied the way in which procaine could be used in the fight against ageing and found the composition to make the most of its effects over beauty. Gerovital H3 concept was introduced for the first time in 1957, in Verona, Italy, at the Gerontology International Congress.
After more than half a century from its creation, Gerovital keeps being a reference brand in the anti-ageing fight, a reinvented product that is adapted to times but preserves in the Ana Aslan’s handwritten signature an air of tradition and value.
Gerovital Plant
The plants used to obtain the edelweiss extract used for the Gerovital Plant products do not come from the spontaneous flora, protected in Europe, but from organic cultures from the Swiss Alps, which observe the biological production standards.
To complete the beneficent effects of the Edelweiss bio extract, the Herbatonic Complex – made of plants from the Transylvanian flora: Rose of Sharon, Horse Tail, Breckland Thyme and mallow provides the skin the necessary amount of remineralisation, an optimum level of moisturizing and protection against harmful environmental factors.
· Horse tail was chosen for the remineralising and toning effect.
· Rose of Shanon improves capillary circulation (toning effect), being also recognised for its antimicrobial and cicatrising properties.
· Mallow was chosen for moisturizing and emolliating.
· Breckland Thyme revitalises all the skin’s functions and it is an excellent astringent, antiseptic and disinfectant.
Gerovital Evolution
Prof. dr. Ana Aslan's Gerovital brand being so famous, we’ve decided to introduce a new range under GH3 brand, with much more evolved active principles, special formulas and shorter response time in obtaining the effects, so that these products would meet the present consumer’s needs.
Our researchers have carried on the fight and the achievements of prof. dr. Ana Aslan, replacing H3 with a triad of innovating active principles which slow down the ageing processes, having a more localized target, on key biological processes.
The anti-ageing Super Enzyme, SOD, protects the collagen fibers and the fibroblasts responsible for their synthesis. SOD is the most active natural antioxidant enzyme.
In tandem with Trylagenul®, it ensures the reorganization of collagen fibers and reshaping of mature, wrinkled sinks.
Thanks to these innovative, active principles, Gerovital H3 Evolution products may be used both after aesthetic treatments (microdermabrasion, Botox and hyaluronic acid injections, laser therapies) and surgical interventions, being recommended by QClinique Transylvania, the aesthetic, plastic and reparatory surgery Clinique.
Thus, in 2010 Gerovital H3 Evolution range was launched. The line of products is structured on age groups, with differences on specific problems and formulas adapted to the skin.
Aslavital
Aslavital line of products was launched in 2001. Aslavital line of products offers a complete programme for the care of sensitive skins:
· allergic,
· couperosic,
· acne,
· irritated,
· wrinkled.
The complexity of the treatment and the large area of addressability are based on the modern formulas of the products, with light and gentle structures, and on the action of special Clay, completed by:
· Vitamins A, C, E,
· Natural oils (Rice, Calendula, Evening Primrose, Squalane) and
· Vegetal extracts of Calendula, Boswelia Seratta and Ginseng.
The tests to demonstrate that the products are hypoallergenic were performed through clinical and instrumental evaluation by Evic Group, France
The main properties that recommend clay as the “healing soil” are:
· Its adsorption capacity (the clay adsorbs and neutralises toxins and bacteria from the body),
· Its cicatrising capacity (the clay helps skin’s regeneration, reducing the period for wound healing),
· Its remineralisation power (clay minerals may be of help in case of mineral deficiencies),
